Many students after coming to Canada find out that their phone is no more working. The carriers in Canada are not supporting their smartphone model. So, they have to purchase a new phone. Instead of going through the trouble of all this and wasting money on a new phone, what you can do is first check and confirm if your phone is going to work in Canada and then bring a phone that supports the network here. It is a very simple process and just takes one minute and even less to show you the results. Just visit the website and select your smartphone brand. Select the phone model and choose the country you are going to. As most of us are planning to study in Canada, we will select Canada in the country. Now, just choose the carrier. We want to check for all the carriers if they are supporting our phone. Hence, we will select all carriers. And just hit "Search".
On the next screen, you will see a list of all the networks with details if they are supporting your phone or not. You will see a small green tick next to the carrier if it is supporting your phone. Some carriers will just support 2G networks, some will work with 3G while some good smartphones will also support 4G/LTE network.
