Manitoba PNP | Business Investor Immigration Stream

There are two categories under Manitoba Business Investor Immigration Stream PNP:-

     1. Manitoba Entrepreneur Pathway

Applicants in this stream must have at least 3 out of 5 years expertise as a business owner or working in senior management in a business that has been shown to be successful. Those that own businesses or have done so for at least 3 years have a higher priority through points. Business owners must at least have a third ownership for points to be added to their Manitoba PNP application and must have adequate language skills if they speak another language.  The lowest education that will be considered is anything that is equal to high school certification within Canada. Applicants must be at least 25 and below 49 to get additional points and investments of at least C$250,000 in businesses within Manitoba, or C$150,000 outside the province. The business must already have or be able to provide at least one job role for Canadian Citizens or permanent residents. This does not include any business owners or relatives. A business plan and research visit is also required to prove that the applicant is able to maintain their income and roles for other employers. The business plan and visit must have taken place within the last year before the application. The net worth of the Provincial nominee program must be at least C$500,000 and must be verified by the MPNP.

     2. Manitoba farm investor pathway                

The Manitoba farm investor pathway is for people that already have farm business expertise and capitol to be able to establish and operate farmland within the province. Applicants must have proof of eligibility to apply. To be eligible they must have at least 3 years expertise in business management and supportive documentation, adequate language skills in one of Canada’s official languages, at least C$150,000 to invest in tangible assets in Manitoba, a business plan including prior farm business research visit. The Manitoba PNPapplicants must live on the farm and participate in managing it on an on-going basis and the business has to be actively economically viable. The applicant’s worth must be at least C$350,000 which will be verified.
